This week was based on theatre from the time of the renaissance and how it originated. It was interesting to learn that it was from the rituals and ceremonies of the time that theatre came about. Rituals and ceremonies where the only form of theatre during that time period as they contain the aspects of a theatrical event. The way of life during the renaissance was different to the way in which we run our society today. One aspect that we had to become aware of was the way in which they presented themselves. Back then people would never give each other “high five’s†or slouch over unless you offcourse were a peasant, therefore we as a group had to learn how to hold ourselves up right and how to talk and express ourselves with high manner.
